Hi, the latest version of Premiere is quite buggy, crashing occassionally.
But the one thing that is truly challenging is the way Project Manager works, for a multi-nested, Large project, with hundreds of nests and timelines.

Also with graphic files, certain files do not get copied (when use the copy function), even when they are in the timeline. Multi nests - are just impossible to find, when every clip is multi-nested, in a project with 100s of edit timelines.

As such, I feel, that Premiere needs to look into this, Just like after effects, be more efficient at media managing, when we handover timelines to Online.

Hope your team would consider this crucial!

The Project Manager in Premiere Pro has had issues for a long time. It's not very easy to use and can be unreliable, especially with large projects.

If you're working on a complex project with many sequences, a lot of users recommend using a third-party tool like PlumePack by Autokroma. It often handles media management better than Premiere's built-in option.

If you want to stay within Premiere, here’s a method that can make things easier:

  1. In the Project panel, select all the sequences you want to project manage. You don’t need to select nested sequences—they’ll be included automatically if they’re in your main timelines.
  2. Go to File > Export > Selection as Premiere Project. This will create a new project with just those sequences and their media.
  3. Open that new project, then go to File > Project Manager.
  4. In the Project Manager, Shift+click the sequences to select them all.

This method can help make the export process more reliable, especially when you're handing off a project or backing it up.
