Few questions for a beginner in premiere pro
So, i'm borrowing premiere pro from my GF's creative cloud account, and decided to slowly start making videos. So here's the questions/concerns i have (sorry for the high amount of them):
Is it normal for premiere pro with lots of videos split into smaller parts (compilations) to use 28GB+ when editing and rendering? I had it set to prioritize ram usage than performance to not use up all my 32GB ram (i am planning a new 8 core build with 48GB or more later to let PP use everything it needs)
What's the hotkey to move the blue timeline cursor to my position? As of now i have zoomed out, then moved the cursor to where i want it and then zoom in again.
How do i apply a "zoom in" to a point on a sequence with a smooth transition? haven't quite figured out that yet.
Why was "title" on the top left of the main options removed? I tried to search all over youtube, but no one had the version i have which is the latest. Had to click "file, new, legacy title" to add a title.
How do i move text that i add or objects to follow a pattern to follow a object in the video?
Is there any way to "clean up" the whole workspace and only add what i want/need?
How do i add the legacy title styles for my next edit?`Managed to find it by mistake and can not remember where and how i found it.
I want to move my saved project files to a different storage, but even when i renamed one of the files, premiere said the file now was offline. Is there a way to tell it where to read the files even with a different name or on a different location?
How do i save my intro and outro videos, text and music project and files for the next time? Even when located to it's future designated permanent storage for video editing.
How do i move duplicated audio clips that i have cut out or copied to appear where i want instead replacing a section of the video above the original when i move my focus to a different part of the video?
Is there a hotkey to disable "X"'s function? It's really frustrating when accidentally when pressing it instead of C to cut.
Is there a way to make the "split" tool magnet snap to the timeline arrow to exactly where i want to cut? I have to aim by eye or zoom all the way in to split precisely.
Might add more questions if i have more to ask.
