File Name on Video

When I export a video, the file name appears at the bottom of the video for the first few seconds.  I would rather that it didn't.

This has just started happening.  Some button must have gotten toggled in an upgrade.

Just in case it is VLC player, I ran across this setting again this morning.

IN VLC player, Tools -> Preferences -> Subtitles/OSD. Deselect "Show media title on video start."

That was it.

THANKS.

When I was in grad school, we'd order data from the feds.  It could take weeks or months to arrive (on mag tape).

Now, we have a question & it gets answered (perhaps from a mile away or 3,000 miles away) in the time it takes me to make a cup of coffee.  In a (trite) sense, it's miraculous.

Repeated thanks.

some players like vlc do that, so follow Averdahl's hint to try out whether it's Premiere or just the player.

Does this happen if you import the exported video into Premiere Pro and view it there?
