Final Cut Pro XML converted with XtoCC no longer working on updated Premiere

New Here ,

Hi,

I imported some final cut pro XMLs (converted with xtocc) into premiere and everything was working well until I updated my premiere today. A lot of my files in these timelines are offline (without being able to relink them). I also tried creating a new project and re-importing the final cut XMLs - now this is no longer working as well.

How am I supposed to import and use these final cut XMLS with this updated FCP??

I'm actually working with this right now. One possible work around is to:

  • Import  Final Cut XML into Premiere 2017
  • Save Project
  • Open in in Premiere 2018 (it will force you to save as New Project)

I know this sucks but it should be very quick. You can install multiple versions of Premiere in the Creative Cloud app. Ill test this.
