I just learned about the font size increase/decrease shortcut and I got it to work right away at first. Now, no matter what I do (how I select the text, etc) the shortcut won't work. I don't understand it becaue it worked before. All of the other shortcuts work fine. What am I doing wrong? I have tried selecting the text (select all), I have tried not selecting the text and just letting it have that red box around it, I have tried selecting it so that it has that blue box around it, I have tried selecting the graphics panel instead while the red box is around the text, I have tried to see if maybe the caps lock got turned on (would that matter?) but nothing works. Neither the shorcut to increase the text by a little or a lot works. I haven't changed any shortcuts, I checked in the keyboard shortcuts panel and I'm using the right shortcuts....I have tried restarting premiere pro too. Nothing works. What am I doing wrong?

Try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
