Go to Next Marker shortcut does not work. PPro 2024

I have a 18 minute long timeline that I can't get the Go to Next Marker and Go to Previous Marker shortcuts to work in. If I make a new sequence and put markers down then shortcuts works as expected but in my main sequence, where I need this to work, it just doesn't. 

 

The fact that I can get the shortcuts to work in a new sequence without having to restart the program or clear my cache tells me this has something to do with the length or complexity of my main sequence being a problem for Premiere. 

 

There seems to be complaints about this for years and I'm just adding one more for PPro 2024. Please finally fix this!

    Thank you Stan! Turning off Duplicate Frame Markers did the trick. Not sure why that's that solution but at least there's a workaround for now.

    I'm on 24.1.0 (Build 85), I would update but I'm in the middle of a project so I have to stay on the same build as the rest of my team.

    Thank you Stan! Turning off Duplicate Frame Markers did the trick. Not sure why that's that solution but at least there's a workaround for now.

    This is a very long thread where a bug in PR 23.1 was an issue. I describe what I thought the problem was and how I tested for the bug and for it being fixed.

    Next/previous marker commands are working correctly for me, with duplicate frame markers on or off, in PR 24.2.1 and Beta 24.4.0.1.

     

    In the post I link to, I explained why I think the results for this function can be confusing.

      We're not seeing that behavior, but would be happy to pursue it further.

      dparsons, I've emailed you a link to some private upload space; can you provide a .prproj [we don't need media] containing the sequence, for which Next/Prev marker don't work?

        Well, if it's really a problem, then it would be better for you to find one of those posts - which has some UPvotes, and add your comments and upvote that. 

         

        Did you try creating a new project and importing that sequence to the new project? See if they work there. That's what I would try at this point.
