GoPro files have unsupported compression type.

Sorry for the frustration. If you have a Mac on Apple Silicon, the GoPro Cineform codec is not supported. Info about the limitation is here. A workaround is here. You can also import files into the free app, Shutter Encoder, and transcode to a different codec, like ProRes LT. If you have an Intel Mac, you might try importing the files by first copying them to the hard drive, then import them. Do not use Image Capture.

I will be cancelling my subscription soon because of this problem.

 

It is unbelievable to me that Adobe isn't nativly compatible with the most popular action camera in the world.

The problem is only with ADOBE product.

Because:

I have downgraded to Premiere Pro 13.1.5 and that mistake had disapeared.

Nothing changed, the operation system is the same Win10, no any codecs additionally installed.

That is really bad when you can't use UP-TO-DATE software because of that serious problem but you still pay them your cash.
