Having issues with Audio Channels in new Premiere Update (v25)

A1 only plays from the left, A2 only plays from the right, can't hear anything from A3 and A4 channels, and then A5 the audio is played from both ends, so A5 works properly. This was never issue, then I updated to v25. Never changed the sequence settings or anything of the sort.

It's really weird that the exact same audio is played differently on the same sequence. The audio channel seems to be the issue here.

You have your sequence setup as a 4 channel multitrack. Tracks 3 and 4 are going to outputs 3 and 4 which is why you are not hearing anything. You also have tracks 1 and 2 panned hard left and right.. Start a new stereo sequence and copy and paste your footage to the new sequence, If needed pan your tracks to the centre.

Hey so trying all of these solutions can confirm none of them worked for me. 4 channels continued to appear in audio under adobe settings: audio, and no amount of adjusting it under sequence settings or audio settings did anything. The ONLY thing that worked on v25 on a macbook running osx sierra, was to manually change the number at the bottom of each audio channel, for every sequence, to zero. Some were set at 100 and some at -100--- nothing that I did explains this, and my audio had two matching left right stereo channels.

Just to say you're not alone I also had this issue today - and the solution below fixed it.  Thanks all

when creating sequence you need to go to TRACKS and set it as on the picture I added.

It worked for me so I hope it will fork for you too

I had the same problem. Didn't realize there was a tracks tab when creating a new sequence. I actually like the new feature bc it gave more control w/o have to go into audio channels. So this set up works. Just wish I didn't have to make a new sequence to apply stereo. Wish the tab was in Sequence Settings as well.

Hey! I Have the Same problem, Audio is played in stereo in the old version, but when a project in 2025 is played in mono.
