HDR and SDR in one timeline

i used iphone 14 with hdr to record videos and sony zv1f for brolls, iphone recorded everything in HDR and sony in SDR i edited the entire timeline, interpretted iphome footages as rec2100 , rendering with hdr10 settings, iphone footages looks totaly fine but sony footages looks like dark and dull like someone glazed it like a donut. whats the fix ?

Use Premiere's color management settings ... go to the Color Workspace, Lumetri panel, SETTINGS TAB  ... the one named Settings.

 

All HDR is in log ... use this!

 

Set Display color managment on, as well as auto log detect and auto tonemapping. The latter two can be inter-reactive and that's good.

 

Now set your sequence to Rec.709 color space, and Premiere will tonemapp the HLG to Rec.709 quite nicely. At export, do NOT use any preset with either HLG or PQ in the preset name, use the 'standard' export presets, which are all Rec.709 color space.
