Help please. Anchor Point not showing Premiere Pro

Hello all.

Admittedly not that experienced with Premiere. I just learned how to move the anchor point and why... but now I can't get it or the edge handles to show. I've tried selecting the clip (click on clip in timeline) and then double clicking the preview screen. I've tried clicking on Motion on the Effects panel. Nothing. I notice that Motion tab on the Effects panel does not have a square next to it, only an FX. In the tutorials I've seen, this box is shown on their screen. Incredible gratitude in advance... quite a frustrating experience over here.

I still need to click on the individual graphic item in either ECP or EGP to get the bounding box and anchor points showing for that item.

If you are talking about the anchor if effect controls just click on it and look in the centre of your screan then hover your mouse on it  and make sure it shows up and down on your mouse then you can move it.

Thank you very much. This worked together with enlarging the preview screen. Many thanks.

I think the interface changed in recent versions; try just clicking on the word "Motion" under Effects Controls to get the bounding box with anchor point.

Are we talking about an anchor point for a graphic element? If so, you can click on that element's named line in either the Essential Graphics Panel or the Effects Control Panel. That should get the item selected on screen.

Thanks. I was working with pngs. I found that clicking on the bar next to motion in the effects control and enlarging the preview screen worked together. I was working from a laptop, so the preview screen was quite small.
