so I've had this problem for a 2 years now when I make changes to the layout of my work space. It happens in After Effects too so i think the problem might be related. Most of the time when I reset work space it goes back to normal. Sometimes When i have to add text or in After Effects adjust masks it becomes a problem as my mouse position does not reflect what is actually being shown. Can anyone help?

I tried both solution unfortunately the problem still exists.

Here are some visual examples I am talking about.

    Hi Ironpeng,

Is this just the display of your project that looks weird? In other words this doesn't affect the output of your final video, does it?

Also, after you make these changes to your workspace, do thing return to normal after waiting a while, or just stay like that?

This might be a long shot: personally speaking, on my Apple computer, I occasionally will have some weird things happen when I have the entire Premiere Pro project taking up the full width and height of my monitor. Then when I size the entire project window down, for some reason things are fine. Not sure why that happens or if that is relevant to your question. But thought I would at least leave something for you to try while I await your response.

    Good luck,

Hi Brandon it doesn't affect the final output and sometimes when I play the project it'll play kind of normally the edges usually top and left will look weird flickering/showing the layer under it or repeating frames. I'll try your method It's not so much of a problem but just really really annoying.

For sure, I'd be really annoyed, also. Since this only happens when you change your workspace, my initial thinking is that Premiere Pro and After Effect for some odd reason are having a fit over one of the sizes of your workspace panels. Let me know if this works, because I'm curious myself.
