Help with Editing in MultiCam

Hi all, I hope someone can help me out.

I created a nested multicam sequence in Premiere Pro 20204 using footage from 3 different cameras.  One of the camera angles was particularly acute (a body cam) so I had to ctrl + double click to open up the cameras separately in the timeline and edit directly from there using Effect Controls.  I tried zooming in and rotating the video and initially, the edits appeared successful when in the multicam view (i.e., 3 cameras on left of program monitor along with final output view).  However, when the sequence was re-nested with other sequences and played on the timeline, I got the attached crooked result in which the rotation effect remained but the zoom vanishes.

I had to renest the sequences in order to go back into multicam view to edit the cameras again and to my surprise, the body cam in the multicam view appeared in the edited format but the final output showed crooked as in the attached.  What on earth am I doing wrong?

Try using the Source Clip Effect instead.
