All is updated..NVIDA, CUDA....etc...PPRO just randomly crashes on the most basic routines i.e adding un-animated text and its killing me. Ive got a project due by the 7th and at this point I'm nervous and everybody is pointing fingers at each other. What is going on adobe? If apple updates and I've updated everything I can, then what do I do??? My MacBook Pro has plenty of everything..looks like you guys need to keep up with the pace..Am I missing something??

Brandon

Hi Brandon,

Have you tried Metal GPU processing instead of CUDA? Give it a shot and let us know how it works.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Brandon,

Sorry for the inconvenience. To optimize the machine after the update, permissions may get reset. Please follow the steps in this article & check if the issue persists: fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications | Creative Cloud blog by Adobe

Is there an error message after the crash. If yes, please share us a screenshot: FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?

Thanks,

Vidya .
