Hello! I'm really hoping someone can help me. I was shooting a conference and because of scheduling didn't have much time for setup. I noticed now that I've imported the footage there are lines on the screen. Is there a way to fix this? The current footage is 29.97 when I set up I tried 23 but still saw the lines. Please please help!

Hi @katherinel59793504,

I read your notes. Can you show the community a screenshot of the problem? Was this image magnification behind the speaker or something like that? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Yes! Thank you so much for replying! I see my previous screenshot didn't go through. Below is a representation of what I'm seeing

That's a moiré pattern.

One approach to minimizing it is to track where it is present in the picture with a mask and then apply a subtle blur.  While this can work well with clothing, it's not such a good solution for on-screen presentations that need to remain sharp for legibility.

If your camera was locked down and no speakers from the conference stepped in front of the screen, you can do a screen replacement fairly easily - assuming the presentation slides are available in a graphics file format that can be imported into Premiere Pro or After Effects.
