Question

How can I fix this issue on my subject in Premiere Pro?

I need help. I've never run into this issue. My subjects were shot in front of a green screen and well lit. When I keyed out the green screen in Premiere and put a different background behind them, these transparent areas on their clothing appeared. How can I fix this? Please tell me there is a way to fix it....

Those areas are getting picked up by the key used for the green screen. You could either redo the key, or mask/track the mask over the subject. Sometimes one works, sometimes the other is needed.

Hi Neil, since this is something I've never experienced before, could you share steps with me to try to fix the issue? Thank you!

For changing the key, I can't tell if it is highight or shadow areas that are getting included. But you can see them on the image. Adjust the parameters of the key so that those don't get included, this is a visual thing. Your green screen shouldn't need to have very light or dark values included in it if decently lit.

The other option is simply to use the intrinsic Opacity effect to make a mask around your subject, and then track that through the clip. Typical masking process.
