Question

How can I quickly recreate the highlight feature that is going away with legacy titles?

We often use the highlight feature in our software training. It darkens the whole screen a bit and so you can call the users attention to a specific button or area of the screen. Though we found a way to do this in Affter Effects, it takes much longer than it did with the legacy title. Any suggested fast and simple workarounds for that? #highlights #legacy title

I should clarify that when we tried to use Adobe's quick fix of changing them to essential graphics, the transparent portion that was showing the area we wanted highlighted had a yellow fill, so you couldn't see the software at all!!

Post screenshot of what exactly you are trying to make.

Might want to get used to the EGP. Legacy title will be gone soon.

Here's an example of it. See how a highlight is created around the tab we want to call attention to and the rest of the screen is greyed out a little?
