How could I deselect this working area?

Normal selection will be like the center part (short cut "I"&"O")

But i dont know how to deselect the area with yellow line, it will keep ignoring the normal selection part when rendering and exporting.

I think there's one time I accidentally drag in an audio and then it popped out...
It's really annoying...
