Hey Guys,

I´ve just created a rectangle with a gradient fill. The fill is automatically vertical but I would like to have the gradient horizontally. Is there any possibility to get it horizontally, unfortunately I can´t find one. Thanks for all answers!

Greetings!

Horizontally oriented gradientHorizontally oriented gradientLeon V.,

You might try selecting the rectangle with the Selection tool. A horizontal line appears. Drag that line to be vertical. Is the gradient doing what you want now? If not, you might try adjusting the small handles (the two dots at the middle of the beam) to taste.

Pretty fiddly, but works well enough. Let me know.
