Correct answer stefan_gru

Animated GIF is now supported in Premiere Pro (i.e. Adobe Media Encoder) on macOS:

Files supported for export with Adobe Media Encoder

also, i did some research the EXPORT function has ALSO been REMOVED... wtg adobe. fantastic.

so really, adobe removed almost all GIF function. the only way you can make a gif now is somehow getting a collection of frames. You may have to go frame by frame in VLC player and meticulously, and in the most time consuming manner, put each and every frame into photoshop in order.... because you know.... its apparently too hard to just export as a gif or something with a company getting millions$ on overpriced software.

and to anyone saying "its photoshops department" well.. no its not. BECAUSE import video to frames was removed and as such you cannot clip out a video and put it into photoshop anymore at least not the latest one i bought photoshop elements 13.

I seen something about the forced monthly rental of the creative cloud version can just open videos but i will NOT RENT software.

And i will also never in my entire life even if i am a millionaire spend 700$ on freaking software.. 40$ should be a maxi think even getting both photoshop and premiere elements 13 for 104 was a bit too much but was just low enough to swallow.

Just open the video with Photoshop and Save for web as Gif

Premiere does not do animated gif.

I think that is Photoshop's department.

I cant even change the format up top how do i do that? lemme guess.. its a paywall feature.. 40$+ a month forever to unlock that "feature".

I swear adobe is worse than EA.

Who would have known?

Maybe you can forgive me for thinking you were using Premiere Pro considering you are ranting in the Premiere Pro Forum and not junior school Premiere Elements.
