Question

How do I import a video with multi audio channels?

I used Bandicam to record some gameplay. In it's settings I can have it record 2 channels, one for the computer and one for a microphone, sound board etc. But when I import the video into Adobe it only has the first channel which is computer sound and doesn't have my soundboard at all.

Bandicam has both channels inside the video file (somehow) and when I edit those using sony vegas it just brings both on different tracks automatically but adobe doesn't seem to detect the second channel. Is there a reason for this? How do I change that so I can edit both?

P.s. Bandicam does have a setting where the audio tracks are saved as separate audio files from the video, though I'd prefer not use that method unless absolutely necessary as it's much more messy in my folder and I like not having 3 files for every 1 video.

you can try to modify the sequence settings then the audio tracks and add more specified multi audio channel track to the sequence

If you use the Media browser to navigate to, select, and Import the file ... then drop it onto a blank sequence, do you get all audio or only the couple you've been getting?

Also, if you download/install MediaInfo, drag/drop one of the Bandicam created files onto it ... then in that app go into TREE view, and drop a screen-grab of the video & audio sections into your reply, that would be very helpful. We could see exactly what your media is.

From media browser I get to the file's location, RIght click and select import, then from, the "Project" window I drag and drop it into the timeline (which says no sequence until I do so) and then I only get the left and right channels of the computer recording with no trace of my soundboard.

Here's the screencap of the video and audio areas.

Please assume I know nothing it probably seems like it'd be rude but it helps avoid confusion. Thanks for the hand you're offering

Ayman can probably be of help here ... it looks like PrPro is picking up one audio channel but not the other.

A screen grab of the clip audio properties from one you've imported into PrPro would be handy also.
