Yes, Adobe Premiere Pro can read .wmv now after I have installed http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9442. A problem is solved (-:

FYI, Premiere Pro does not natively support WMV import on the Mac (we do on Windows, though). As you've already found, it will require a 3rd party plug-in, such as Flip4Mac.

Method One: Play WMV on Apple's computer with Windows system

Nowadays, you can install Windows operating system, XP, Vista, 7, 8 on Apple's computer, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini with Boot Camp, and this system can co-exist with the built in Mac OS X system side by side. If you start the Windows system, you can access any files in Mac Drive, and double click any WMV file in Mac system to play it.

Method Two: Convert WMV to Mac OS X System Supported Formats

Here, personally recommend an easy-to-use way to convert WMV to Mac compatible foramts.

What version?

I have just imported a WMV file into Win CC Pro 7.1.

Failing that, drag it into Media Encoder and export it as a usable format.
