How do I make a video background transparent?

Hello All,

 

I think I have tried almost everything that I could find on the subject matter but I haven't been successful. Can someone please assist in ensuring that the background to this video is transparent?

As Ann said, a premiere pro project is useless without the accompanying media. The project just references the files on your hard drive. That being said, to export with transparency you'll need to use a video codec that supports an alpha channel, such as Quicktime ProRes 4444. There is an option to export with alpha.

    In recent versions there's also a preset for it:

    Just be sure to double check the rest of your export settings to ensure they are what you want them to be (frame size, framerate, etc.)

    There is no point posting the project if the original assets are not included.

    I'm not familiar with photoshop lingo. I uploaded the project. What are "original assets"?

    This is not Ps lingo but plain lingo.

    Assets as in videoclips, stills etc
