is there shortcut to mute a single clip of audio in a sequence?  i know i can unlink it and delete the audio or mute the whole audio line in the sequence by selecting M, just looking for a single clip short cut. Thank you in advance!!!

I'm using CC2015 so I cannot speak about later versions.

Isolate the audio and/or video clip on the timeline by selecting it while holding the alt key.

Right click on selection and then click on the enable in the pop out menu.

    This will disable the clip.

If you want to enable it again, just click on enable in the pop out menu.

In addition to what Robbo754 says: you can use [ and ] to decrease/increase volume.

Or make a separate track: mute and move audio down.

Rather surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be one!

Might want to file the Feature Request for this ... I'd think it quite useful, and surprised there isn't one!
