Question

How do I stop a project from re-opening

I've created a project and opened another project during this project in order to use part of that project.

From there, I close all the parts of the second project that opened as I have what I need.

I'm finding PP isn't handling it well and continues to re-open the second project in the project pain. This in turn creates low expemtion issue warnings.

I'm saving the main project after I have shut down the second project but it keeps coming back.

Is there any way of closing it permanently in the main project?

Cheers

Instead of opening the second project, you could File > Import and then choose the sequence(s) that you want to import, and then copy from the sequence(s).

If you close the project panel of a project, it will not be closed. To close an opened project, make sure that the desired project is selected (look at the name in the title bar at the top to know which one is the current selected project) then use the command from the file menu: File > Close Project (or ctrl + shift + w).
