How do I sync audio on Variable Frame Rate footage for .MOV

I shoot some videos on my iphone and I haven't had issues with audio sync editing in Premier Pro. Version 22 works well with it. After upgrading to version 23.2 , the audio from my iphone videos are out of sync. I went back to version 22 and the audio is in sync. How can I fix this issue in 23.2? Supposedly there is a work around for mpeg files under effects control and under the "master" tab (that currnetly doesn't exist anymore) one would select "Preserve Audio Sync". I'm not sure if it's because I'm editing .MOV files, those options doesn't exist.  Is there a way to preserve the audio sync in 23.2? Also, why is it that my .MOV files work just fine in verson 22?

Correct answer Ann Bens

Im am guessing your files would go out of sync in 2022 eventually (most likely in the export file)

You will have to convert all files to constant framerate.

I've been cutting in 2022 for a while now with various project lenghts extending up to 2:30:00 minute long timelines without audio issues. So I guess the answer is that Adobe broke another feature in premiere pro and there is no fix like there was for mpeg. Thanks for sending me that converter. I appreciate that.

Feature has not be broken. It has always been like that.

But with very short movies' audio out of sync is hardly noticeable.
