hi there,

Can anyone tell me how to turn OFF automatic clip selection at the playhead?

I've noticed when I scroll around my timeline, clips are selected for now apparent reason.

Thanks

But it doesn't STAY off. It's hugely annoying, and bad interface behavior, because if you're in a rush, applying copies of effects or other work, you find a clip is selected THAT YOU DON'T WANT effected. After all these years, it persists. This is brain dead default behavior.

I have a hot key to disable it AFTER I've booted up. And in total violation of human interface guidelines, I have to do that EVERY session. I should NOT have to do that, folks.

Premiere team: DISABLE this creepy defailt behavior, it is not only annoying, especially during revision work, but unproductive.

Best as always,
