How do I underline text in Premiere Pro

I don't see the option in graphics panels. My client wants two words underlined.

I would hate to have to use a rectangle because  I already have my text animated and such.

Thank you.

Hi mikeven77,

Unfortunately, creating a thin rectangle shape under the text is the only option as of now.

But at the same time, I would request you to make a feature request for this here.

Thanks,

How is that even possible? That you cant underline simple written text??? It's the most simple feature and it's been around for EVER. It's not a big issue but kind of embarrassing for Adobe...

The after effects people said that you shouldn't be underlining text anyway since it's ugly... but that's silly because sometimes you have to underline text. You just have to.
