How do I underline text in Premiere Pro

I don't see the option in graphics panels. My client wants two words underlined.

I would hate to have to use a rectangle because  I already have my text animated and such.

Thank you.

Hi mikeven77,

Unfortunately, creating a thin rectangle shape under the text is the only option as of now.

But at the same time, I would request you to make a feature request for this here.

Thanks,

This is one more instance, in a whole encyclopedia worth of instances, where Adobe disregards simply, but helpful tools for professionals (which, by the way, I would guess makeup 90% of your market) and seems to put all their time and effort into making a big splash with the latest trendy new gadget that hardly anyone uses. Wtf Adobe, put the underline feature in Premiere Pro! Jeez Louise!
