Question

How do I Upload Sync Settings from my computer?

I have "always upload settings" enabled in my preferences. Then I click Sync Settings Now, and the computer reverts back to an older cloud version of sync settings. I was able to "Clear Settings" to remove the older sync and revert back to my settings currently on my device.

But how do I get this working so I can start saving my sync settings?

I'm on Premiere 22.6.2, preparing my computer to update.

Yea I am having the same problem, and if I manually wipe out my settings, as soon as I launch premiere it downloads the old settings which seem to have issues. How can I manually delete my creative cloud premiere pro profile so I can start from a clean state?

I had the same idea. I reached out to support and they couldn't figure out how to do it. I followed this video to move settings to another computer for now. https://youtu.be/7ki1fBK_upQ

I have the same issue. I've tried selecting both "Ask My Preference", and "Always Upload", but it only wants to download, which I do not want. I've tried changing the settings then restarting premiere, no help. I'm on Windows 10, Premiere version 23.1.0. Even did a complete fresh OS re-install along with the adobe suite, and no change.  Honestly I've never had this function work, on both Mac and PC, since this was even an option. It would be quite helpful everytime I have to reinstall premiere or roll back to at least have my settings, preferences, and shortcuts saved.

Try changing the "When syncing" pop-up menu to "Ask my preference".  Then quit Premiere Pro.

Reluanch Premiere Pro and choose Sync Settings Now.  Assuming you get the following dialog box, make your choice and enable "Remember my preference".

Do you use more than one workstation?  It might work better to make sure each and every workstation you use is set to "Ask my preference".

Hi, I have 2 devices. Both are now updated to Premiere 2023. Both are set to "Ask my preference, "---but I never get the dialogue box prompt like the one you have pictured.
