How do you add a image so it doesn't cover the whole screen?

Hi! I am new to premiere pro* and I was wondering how do you add a image so it doesn't cover the whole screen.I couldn't find a better image than this for an example:

You need to have the "Effects control" panel and change the scale of the image that is on your sequence

You have a couple of options in Premiere Pro:

  1. Scale to frame size - right click on youe footage and choose scale to frame size. Here's a good explainer. https://premierepro.net/scale-frame-size-vs-fit-frame-size/
  2. Choose Motion from the Effect Controls Panel, then Scale and type in a value or click-drag the percentage value.
  3. Double click the footage in the Program Monitor and drag one of the corner handles that become visible.

Usually people are creating new document then using File > Place Embedded or Linked to place image which can be scaed down and positioned anywhere in the document.

The size of the image is determined by resolution.

 

You can resize the layer for that image, and make it smaller.

Hi! I accidentally typed photoshop.I wanted it to be for the premiere pro forum.I know how to do it in photshop.I want to know how to have a video play and the photo only be in one part of the screen , so you can still see the video as well as the image
