Weird one this but is there a way to find how often I use a clip / audio file in a timeline? im working on a massive project for a client and wanted to produce a metric on how often I have had to use an audio clip in these videos.

Any help would be great, thank you.

Here's how you can find out how often a clip is used:

  1. In the Project panel, right-click the column headings.
  2. Choose Metadata Display.
  3. Tick the fields Video Usage and Audio Usage.

This will add columns to your Project panel that show how many times each clip has been used in your sequences.

Go to File > Export > Avid Log Exchange. This will export a .ale file, which is a text-based format.
