How to adjust image input length?

Ok so, here's the situation. I have a bunch of images that need to be collected together to form 1 video, and each image is supposed to be 1 frame. Now, when I input these image into Premiere's timeline, the length is longer than 1 frame. The problem is, these pictures only need to be 1 frame in length, and having to input them and then crop them is time consuming. I want to just imput these images and have them occupy only 1 frame automatically so I could complete my project quickly or just in less time. Does Premiere have a setting, pluggin or a feature to change the length of images when they are inputted into the timeline?

If you already imported the images, you can change its duration by right-click > Speed Duration and set the duration to 1 frame:

 

 

This will not affect the images that you already used in the timeline, so you have to drag them again to your sequence from the project panel

Besides what Rob said, you can change the Still Image Default Duration in the preferences and set it to be 1 frame:

I second Rob's suggestion.

If using stills to make a video, and they are consecutive, Image Sequence is the way to go.

Importing still images (even if they are but 1 frame) is more tacking on Premiere then importing stills as a video file.

IF you put all of your images into one folder and name them in the folder Filename_1, Filename_2 etc.

So it's filename underscore and then the order that you'd like that frame in a sequence. You can name all of the files this way adding a number to where you'd like it to be in the sequence of frames then you can import them as an image sequence. To import them as an image sequence you'd go to file/import and select the first file only. In the import window click the "Image Sequence" box. On Mac you may need to press the button option to see this button. All of your frames should come in as a movie. If the speed you want you can right click on the image sequence in your project panel and go to modify/interpret footage and choose the frame rate.
