How to Create Default Caption Track Style

I just finished creating closed captions in my timeline.  Highlighted all the captions and created a track style that does my preferred formatting on screen.  I saved it to the sharedrive.

However I am not able to set this new track style as the default setting.  Tried going into the Premiere preferences and could not locate a setting to set a default track style.  Each time I also close and re-open Premiere, I have to import the track style each time.  What a pain.

The end goal here is to expedite the workflow for the producers at work.  Is there a way to set a default track style for captions?

Thanks

Hi @Richard28387618ze7u . That's a nice feature request.  In the meantime, here are some things you can do to expedite your workflow:

a) Save your style "to local" (i.e. to your machine) for easier reuse in every project.

  1.  Select a caption on your track, in the Essential Graphics panel track style section, click the grid button to open the style browser
  2.  Right-click your style and select "Set as track style"

    b) Create a project template and have the style be part of that project
