How to crop videos after using them on timeline?

Guys, ive just realized that I messed up big time on Premiere. I made a lot of video sequences and Im having problems to use transitions presets on them now because they are not adjusted to the frame size. How do I cut them now in a way that I wont have all this black space around the video, out of the frame size?

Change the sequence size to match your media.

Thing is: I could simply scale the footage, and it would automatically fill the frame. But I'm using transition effects and if the clips don't match perfectly their frame sizes, the transitions don't work

Do your editing in a sequence size that supports your transitions, and then nest that sequence into your 1080 X 1920 sequence.
