Question

How to delete assets from Search Bin?

I have a lot of JPGs in a project that I don't need. I made a Search Bin to gather all these JPGs into one easily accessable folder. Now that I have them all in front of me, how do I delete them? The garbage bin icon is greyed out and hitting the Delete key does nothing. There has to be a way to do this.

I just wrote an Automation Blocks tool for you which can remove all items you have selected in the search bin.

See this tutorial:

You can download the xml file of the block code here.

You also find it in our community library now at

Project Management/Project Items/Remove Items/Remove All Selected Project Items.xml

You can also load the xml file in the free trial of Automation Blocks.

Awesome! I'm still looking for a native solution within Premiere but Automation Blocks seems pretty cool.

You can alternative sort on jpg (metadata/video codec), select all and delete.

What is alternative sort? I'm not familiar with that.
