I thought I remember reading some place that there is an easy way to extend the end of a video clip with the last frame.  I can't recall what that is.

Currently, I always go to the end of myu video clip, do a screen shot, then drag it on to the end. Is there a faster way to do thiis?

Park the playhead on the last frame. Select the clip. Right click on the selected clip and choose Add Frame Hold. Drag the held frame to the duration you want.

Thanks, that works great. One thing I notice however is that when I apply a transition (video to png now) the transition is completely on the video side and not the png side.  (vs png to png it splits it in half).  Does that have any other affects?

Is this in reference to your using a PNG as a freeze frame?

Is the end of the outgoing clip on the timeline the physical end of the clip source media? If so the transition has to occur before that point as there are no additional frames to keep the scene running during the transition.
