Question

How to Extract 5.1 Audio to Stereo

I want to mix 5.1 audio in Premiere as stereo.

I want to put the tracks on top of each of the L/R/C/LFE/LS/RS mono files to make it into a single stereo mix file, but when I output it in stereo at the final output stage, it simply merges the tracks and the sound still sounds like a 5.1 channel front and back.

I want to mix it so that it sounds the same on stereo (like Audition - Multi-track Mixdown), rather than L/R separate from front and rear, is there a way to do that in Premiere?

Do you have a stereo sequence? a screen shot of your track mixer would be good.

My sequence is currently set up as 6 tracks of 5.1 multichannel.

When extracting, it is extracted using simple stereo.
When extracted like this, the track appears to be 2-channel stereo,
but the left and right decibels are different, so the sound is heard as a 5.1 track.

I want the sound to be the same on both sides, but how do I do this efficiently?
