How To Get "Reveal in Project" or Recently Added Content to Scroll To View

I tend not to use directories very  much in my project assets and because of that have pages of assets accumulating.  I like t find things by either clicking on the asset in my time line and right mousing and "reveal in project", or just find it because it's the last thing I imported.

PR does highlight the item in my project explorer but does not scroll to it.  That means I have to go hunting with my scroll bar to find it.  Anyway to have PR automatically scroll to the item? (preferably centered in my page, but that might be a little greedy, anyplace in my viewing area will do)

Not the world's most exciting screen recording. Also, you can't quite see that I'm selecting "Reveal in Project".

In the video I start by scrolling the desired clip out of the list view, and selecting another clip. When I choose reveal in project the list gets scrolled back to the top. Then I repeat the selection of a lower list clip, and also close the bin. The desired clip still gets found and shown:

Is it possible this was fixed at some point? For me, if a bin is expanded at the time, the list scrolls to show the highlighted clip. If the bin is closed, it expands the bin, and also scrolls to the highlighted clip.

Hi peterkellner1,

It's working the way Colin described.

Do you still need help with this?

Thanks,

Just reviving an old thread from 2017 to point out that this problem has still not been resolved.  PP editing interface otherwaise supports a pretty fast flow, but this silly problem is like an annoying puddle of quicksand that is so unnecessary and, frankly, kind of amateur-hour for an otherwise sophisticated and respected app.

Highlighting it off-screen doesn't help. When I right-click on a clip and choose "reveal in finder" it should do exactly that. If you don't scroll to it automatically when it highlights, then I have no way to know you found it and it's not displaying, so you didn't reveal it!  I've asked to SEE it so I can't work with it, not simply conclude that it's there somewhere.

Seems like an elementary function Mr. Adobe, so what gives?
