HI,

Just installed Premiere Pro (24.3.0 (Build 59) on PC and I try to follow the tutorials.

https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/learn/premiere-pro/web/create-project-import-media?locale=fr

The UI is completely different on the video tutorials than what I have, so it becomes hard to follow the tutorials.

When I call the Editing workspace, as suggested in the videos, I can't display the top main menu and the project window:

This is the interface I get with the Editing workspace:

My UI.pngI have searched everywhere I could without being able to set the same interface.

Your help is much appreciated as Adobe technical support has no clue so far!

workspaces are incredibly useful, so might be worthwhile exploring how to modify them and then save as a new workspace...    Gotta say I've been doing this for a long time, starting in early days of avid and then moving to fcp1-7, and I had some difficulty getting my head around how to rearrange panels, but once I got it, I haven't looked back...  Might do some searching for tutorials on modifying workspaces and maybe someone else here can pipe up, but post back if you hit a wall and I'll try and fill in the details.

Your reply is useless!

All the tutorials I see on Premiere Pro are made with 7 years old interface.

The menus have changed and make them also useless for someone that starts leaning. I have spent several hours + a fellow from Adobe's customer service  that hold me over 50mn on phone without being able to halp!!!

While I pay every single day I can't use the software ...

The workflow for customizing workspaces has not changed in any major way for many iterations of the program...    Not simple, not intuitive, but very powerful...    Play around with dragging panels to different "drop zones."  and use "reset to saved layout".   If you put in the effort, you'll figure it out.  Maybe find an expert who can quickly give you some help to get you over the hump...    Good luck.

Where are you getting those tutorials? The Adobe websites have a lot of getting started things on them.

Past that, Video Revealed (Colin Smith), Paul Murphy's The Premiere Pro are some of the best on YouTube. PremiereGal is pretty good also.

and LinkedinLearning has some great comprehensive sets of tutorials...  It's not cheap, but pretty sure there's a free trial available...

Yup, there's a free month trial available.

And as I suggested, hiring an expert to get you over the hump might be the best solution..  Even over zoom, someone can quickly demonstrate how to customize workspaces...    You might see if there are any premiere courses available at schools in your vicinity...  although gotta say I had a client recently who taught Premiere at a school in New Jersey who couldn't edit his way out of a paper bag.
