How to import Android cell phone video into HDV project

I started an HDV Premiere Pro CC Version 14 project by importing AVCHD Blu-ray video.  I then decided to import video from an Android cell phone.  Apart from the android video appearing as an expected narrow horizontal view in the standard Blu-ray frame, the verticle view was clipped when inserted in the timeline.

In an attempt to solve the clipping problem I started a new DV project to import the Android cell phone video where the time line video was not clipped top to bottom in an attempt to export it to a Blu-ray format to use in the HDV project without clipping.

Assuming that the DV project is the correct approach to solve my problem, how should I export it to provide a source file to import for an unclipped image in the HDV project or a different approach?

Correct answer RobShultz

I would stick with the HDV project and after the Android clips and placed in the timeline right click on them and choose set to frame size

Thanks Rob.

As an occasional video editor, it is not obvious to me how the list of functions in the right click you recommended work. If possible, where would I find a description of all these functions in one location?
