To import a MOV file, you first need to convert it into Mp4.

For that rename the file without erasing anything just add ".mp4" and save it.

It'll be converted to Mp4 and than you can import it easily:)

If they're QuickTime files, they aren't really "transitions" in the PP sense of the word.  They're just normal video clips, and you would treat them as such.

You can use them as a transition, but you do so by treating them like a video clips, because that's what they are.  They won't show up in the Video Transitions folder.

Other companies make genuine transitions which will show up there.  Just do a bit of research.  (Though CS6 is so old now, I don't know about compatibility.)
