How to keep Closed Captions in

Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way I can export a compilation video and still keep the Closed Captions of the original video. The video (in parts) is not in english, but the individual videos do come with Closed Captions, but every time I export it, the option is unavailable. I've learned how to insert my own Closed Captions, but I want to know if there's an easier way, because if I can get what I want without putting in any wasted time, that'd be even better (plus, I'm generally unexperienced with putting in proper Closed Captions)

Thank you for your responses.

What specific dot version of PR?

You are importing a video with a closed caption stream? And the stream imports okay?

Only a few export formats allow embedding a closed caption stream. What export format are you using?

    1. If you mean what version it's Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018

    2. The video files seem to import correctly

    3. H.264 is what my professor recommended

PR will not embed in .mp4, only.mov and .mxf.

There's a feature request, but on my phone and can't send link.

    See this thread for workarounds:

So I tried exporting the original Closed Caption file as .mov to see if the Closed Caption option was still there, and it wasn't. What am I doing wrong?
