How to make a color adjustment layer only apply to one track?

Is there a way to clip an adjustment layer to one track, sort of like what you can do with adjustment layers in Photoshop? If not, how do you apply an adjustment layer to only one track when there are multiple tracks of video?

Thanks

The best way is to nest the clips of that track and apply the effect or effects to the created sequence

What are you using that AL to do? One can stack things on a clip, and also do some things, then "nest" the clip, and apply other effects.

An AL is a tool that is basically another "layer" of image manipulation. And no, you can't set it to simply affect one layer.

I'm using the adjustment layer just to apply a color grade across some clips rather than doing it to the actual clips...thanks

Yea, that's an area where not being able to 'attach' an AL to a clip is a pain.
