How to make adjustment layers smart?

Hi, guys. Is there any way to make adjustment layers smart in premiere pro? I'l describe my problem:

I have a sequence consisting of 2 video tracks. The footage is already chopped into pieces and lined up. It's a footage with a talking head (1st camera shooting the overall view, the 2nd - picking details). At some place of the sequence I want to make a color corrected picture-in-picture footage (the detailed picture as a fullscreen and the overall view of the speaker as a square picture in the right-hand corner of the screen). Both the tracks have a color corection adjustment layers above them so the video in the square gives its colors to the full screen video. To solve this problem I usually make a mask in the adjustment layer or just place it with the video itself into the nest. But it's a way time consuming when you have 50 or 80 such pieces in your footage. Is there a simpler way to make an adjustment layer influence only what the track  shows and not all the tracks beneath it? Maybe some opacity exclusion or matte-things?

No, you can't assign an AL to only one track. You would need to apply the color correction directly to the clips themselves rather than using an AL for this workflow.

I rarely use ALs anymore, personally.

Can only suggest to make a color corrected version of  the top clip beforehand and so no need to fiddle with the second adjustment layer later..

Nest the clip with the AL.

Ann, were you not paying attention?

"To solve this problem I usually make a mask in the adjustment layer or just place it with the video itself into the nest." - the 7th line of the text above. And I also wrote: " it's a way time consuming when you have 50 or 80 such pieces in your footage"
