Question

How to make audio in Premiere Pro sound the same as in Audition.

Hello,

I know that this is not the first time this discussion has been talked about. I did record some audio in Audition. There it sounds crisp and clear. When I transfer the same wave file over to Premiere Pro, it sounds tinny, crackly, and lispy. The latest one sounds more lispy and a little bit tinny, and crackly on Premiere Pro than it is on Audition. Yet, the Audio Hardware is the same in both software.

I tried to find help on this subject all over the web, but none of what is out there fixes this problem. Why is it that even though both have the same audio hardware set up, that one audio sounds good on Audition and terrible on Premiere Pro? Does anyone have any solutions to this ongoing issue with Premiere Pro?

Posting pictures of the Audio Hardware preferences for both Premiere and Audition will be very helpful, as well as the Playback preferences from Premiere.

The audio hardware input option should be "no input".

Hello,

Here's what you requested. I do have the Premiere Pro Screenshot. You
mentioned No Input. Is that in the Mic or Default Output. On the screenshot
it is on Mic, and it sounds crappy (I didn't plug in my mic, but I do when
I record).

In Output there is are already two choices and neither is No Input. Now how
do I fix this?

Post screenshot audio hardware.

In Premiere input should be set to No Input.
