How to reload / relink media?

I have some .aep files linked into a Premiere file, but they aren't updating properly.

I'd like to either reload them or just relink them, but neither options are available. Both 'Replace Footage' and 'Link Media' are greyed out.

It seems you can only replace links like this when they are offline... my files aren't offline, they just aren't updating to the latest version.

Do I need to delete them and then import them again?

Hi,

Sorry for the issue. Please go to the Project panel > right-click on the After Effects project file > Make Offline > Right-click again and select Link Media.

Have you tried Dynamic Link to add your After Effects compositions to Premiere Pro? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Ishan
