How to remove OneDrive integration from Premiere Pro and ALL Adobe Programs

Hello,

I prefer to not use any cloud storage integration at all for my files and settings.  How do I remove OneDrive from ALL of my Adobe programs?  Currently it wants to store all kinds of settings and preferences in folders on OneDrive.  How do I get all of the programs (preferably at once) from even seeing, acknowledging or having one drive show up in them?  I picked this forum because there were no "general" communities on here.  When I first open the programs and I am on a home page location I see the connection to OneDrive and I want it gone from there.  I know I cannot remove the "Cloud" catagory but I want the OneDrive listing/reference completely gone.

That ... is a problem. Once OneDrive has taken over, well ... ouch may ensue.

 

My "new" desktop had OneDrive set to run the backup for all "user" folders. Which includes all the folders that the Adobe apps use to store preferences, some presets, that sort of thing.

 

And it decided that the Adobe apps did not need to have permissions to access those folders. So the Adobe apps couldn't write anything there. I couldn't add in my custom keyboard settings or anything. And it took me three days to get that blasted OneDrive utterly, completely, and finally outta my computer.

 

Some people have systems where OneDrive seems to not interfere. I wasn't so lucky. Best wishes, but that ... to me ... was malware. Vicious ... malware.

    Well, I fixed it but at a cost that was actually a very minor sacrifice to me.  I got a reply from someone on a Reddit and they asked if I had OneDrive syncing/monitoring my Documents folder.  My answer was yes.  The problem is (but for me it is now a "was") that Adobe by default installs their preference and settings files into the Documents folder and if that folder is being synced by OneDrive that's the problem.  I don't use OneDrive at all because I have a NAS drive.  I simply unlinked the computer from OneDrive and that solved the problem for me.  I just hope that it didn't separate my computer from my actual Microsoft Account and deactivate my usage of the Office programs.  I will tackle that problem tomorrow by posting in the Microsoft forums.
