How to remove silences from audio without affecting the video
I have the following scenario.
1) A video in V1, which has NO SOUND, is just a gameplay that lasts 10 seconds.
2) A speech that I recorded in PremierePRO, placed in A1.
3) Now click and ensure you only click the AUDIO in A1.
4) Edit / Text / Transcript (ensure it is created) and then Filter / Pauses / Delete / Delete All.
The result, your audio is properly trimmed, but the video is also trimmed. The video is not linked at all, the audio is an isolated file, so why would it assume the video must be trimmed as well?
Btw, linked selection is not checked.
How can I simply remove pauses from my audio without affecting the video that is present in the same time in a different channel?
Thanks.
