How to run Production Premier on Mac and Windows computers?

Adobe apparently has a policy not allowing a license for a Mac and a Windows computer in the same home.  If I had two Windows machines, I could have a license for both.  So why not two different platforms?  I feel they really need to change this policy because this is just bad business.  Many other software companies allow this including Make Music Finale.  I run Finale on both a Windows and a Mac computer with only one license.

Here is my scenario:  A few years back I paid hundreds of dollars to purchase Production Premier CS6 for my Mac.  Then I got a new Windows computer.  Adobe gave me a license for my new Windows computer.  I was able to continue using in on my Mac as well.  But my Mac was a lemon and Apple gave me a new Mac.  Now I can't use my Adobe products (particularly Photoshop and After Effects) anymore on my Mac.  Is there anybody out there that has influence with Adobe that can help them to see what bad business this is for paying customers?  I was told I could pay more money to get a license for my Mac.  I am the only one using these programs in my home.  I run them one at a time.  I don't see any sense in Adobe's policy whatsoever.  Has anyone else faced this dilemma?

Adobe no longer sells CS6, but if you subscribe to CC, you can download CS6.

To the best of my knowledge, the Creative Cloud license doesn't care which platforms you use for the two included activations.  You're not likely to find Adobe changing anything for software as old as CS6.
