Question

How to save an edited MOGRT for use in other projects?

For example, I've got some lower thirds created by editing a MOGRT that I'd like to quickly reuse in other projects, without having to retype the info.  But if I copy/paste an edited MOGRT between projects, if I take the 'source' project offline, the copied MOGRT goes offline also.

How can you reuse a MOGRT that's been edited in your project?

PS - I tried duplicating the .aegraphic file to a new folder & importing, but that failed.

If the Mogrt was created in AE. I believe you would have to open the AE project and reexport it as a Mogrt again.

Dropdown menu: graphics and titles > export as a mogrt.

That's greyed out, I assume because it already is a mogrt.  (I'm looking to save the edited mogrt so don't need to re-enter info.)

Upgrade to source graphic (in the same dropdown menu).
